International Poetry Contest 2016
The IOWDOK International Poetry Contest is a cultural action at international level.
In 2016, the International Poetry Contest IOWDOK is celebrating its third consecutive edition.

The Contest is each year dedicated to a different theme.
For the year 2016 was chosen the theme around the Amity.

Let your imagination run free... illustrate, decorate and draw around your literary composition.
The International Contest: Compose your "Poem of Amity" and send it to
poeme(at)wdok.org. Every month the best poem will be selected to win a prize in relation to the Flame of Amity World Tour as well as compete in the prestigious IOWDOK 2016 Poetry Award. Let your imagination run wild – illustrate, decorate and draw in order to bring your poem to life. Discover your hidden talents and participate in the International Poetry Contest IOWDOK 2016!
Accepted Languages: French, Italian, German, English, Spanish, Romanian, Hungarian, Arabic, Polish, Croatian
The Jury: Made up of journalists, writers and members of the IOWDOK organization committee, it selects the winning poems every month.
For sick children: A special group of poems received will be selected in order to send to sick children in hospitals, in collaboration with several associations from different countries. Through your poem you can help bring a little presence, a moment of joy and a ray of sunshine to break the solitude of sick children.
The book of the most beautiful Poems of Amity: The most beautiful poems selected by the jury will be published in the book “The most beautiful Poems of Amity” (ktb editions 2017).
Terms of participation: Participation in the contest “Poem of Amity” is open to everyone. The author’s age will be taken into consideration when evaluating the poems. Please enclose your surname, first name, address and your date of birth with each poem. Copies or plagiarism of existing poems will not be considered. When you submit your poem, you automatically agree to the terms and conditions of participation.
