The Flame of Amity World Tour...a flame goes around the world!

The Flame of Amity World Tour 2016 – 2019 is an unprecedented federative action created in the name of peaceful Rapprochement and Amity, Reconciliation and Concord among peoples and cultures on a global scale involving 112 Nations around the world!

This mythical torch sees itself relayed by millions of people on a unique and incredible course of 72'000 km around the World until September 20th, 2019, crossing inexhaustibly borders of nations, cultures and belongings, convictions and faiths, abolishing differences and divergences, rejecting partialities and prejudices, claiming mutual respect and the common values.

 

Officially started on April 24th, 2016 from the Senate of the French Republic (see the page departure Paris), the Flame of Amity World Tour is formally welcomed on its international course until September 20th, 2019, by ministries, national and local authorities in over 2000 cities and metropolises around the world.

                                                                                                                                         

Every September 20th the Flame of Amity arrives in the designated city which welcomes the festivities of the International Day of Amity and Reconciliation (see page IDAR). During the opening ceremony the Flame of Amity lights during a lavish choreography the famous Globe of Peace (see page Globe of Peace).
